Samsung is all set to launch its second foldable smartphone. There were speculations that the W20 5G will be launched and teaser of the phone has finally put an end to all the speculations. The new poster states that it will be launched in China on November 19. The poster also reveals that the phone will not be a flip phone, but will have striking resemblance with Galaxy Fold in terms of its looks.
A new poster of the phone shows it is vertically standing and opening like a book. We also get to see the vertical camera setup on the back and fingerprint sensor mounted on the sides below the volume and power buttons. Owing to its striking resemblance with the Galaxy Fold, Chinese have introduced it as 5G version of Samsung Galaxy Fold.
It was previously rumored that the smartphone would offer a foldable display in clamshell design as it was speculated to be the successor of W2019 flip phone. But that is not the case. Besides this, a wireless certification shows a version of Galaxy Fold comes with model number SM-W2020, which refers to W205G.
Samsung will make all the announcements on November 19, which is when all the speculations regarding its looks and features will be put to rest. As it is 5G phone, it is likely to be costlier that Galaxy Fold.
Recently, Samsung had launched Galaxy Fold in India. The phone is priced at Rs1.65 Lakhs. It sports a 7.3 inch Infinity Flex AMOLED display inside and a 4.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display on the cover.
