President Ramnath Kovind would be paying a three-day visit to Karnataka from 10th October. On his arrival in the city, he would visit the Mysore Palace and inaugurate the centenary celebrations of Maharaja Jayachamaraja of Mysore.

On the next day, he would visit Srikanteshwara Temple at Nanjanagud and Chamundeshwari Temple located near Chamundi Hills.

Then he would take part in the groundbreaking ceremony and lay the foundation stone for JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research in Varuna village.

Then, he will hold a meeting with Chief Justice and Judges of the high court of Karnataka at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru. Besides this, he will also pay a visit to the residence of former union minister HN Ananth Kumar.

He would visit Swami Vivekanada Yoga Anusandhana Sansthana University at Jigani in Anekal Taluka in Bengalaru.

Apart from paying a visit to Mysore, the president will also be paying a visit to Punjab in November for the opening of the Kartarpur corridor. Captain Amarinder Singh has invited him and the Former and the current Prime Ministers of the country for the celebration of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji.

The ceremony will be held at Sultanpur Lodhi and opening at Dera Baba Nanak on November 12.
