The sporting director of Winkel, Patrick Rotsaert took his twitter where he wrote a deep condolence over the untimely demise of the player. The tweet writes “This is a disaster and a shock to everyone,” adding more to the tweet he also wrote, “Arne had been with the club all his life and was very loved. He was a wonderfully sympathetic boy, always in a good mood and ready to help. This is really a heavy blow. First of all for his family and also our whole club”.
His teammates mourned his death while more than 1,000 fans, including friends, and family members reportedly showed up for a walk of silence in Sint-Eloois-Winkel. Although, an investigation team has started an investigation and the body has been sent for an autopsy followed by which the real reason for his death will be announced.
