The shocking incident happened on the 9th of April around 6:30 AM when he was seen suffering in the waves due to the attack. As soon as other people and some other surfers got to know about the situation they tried and rescued the man, and he was rushed to the near hospital. The man has lost his right leg post the shark attack, reportedly.

His family later shared a long note thanking everyone who helped him and took him to the hospital. In a statement, his children wrote, “He has a long and difficult road ahead of him.
