Undoubtedly, people are suffering from the heat and amid the rising temperatures heat, IMD (India Meteorological Department: Home) has issued the latest news about relief in the weather. According to the latest weather alert by IMD, it came to know that there would be rain and thunderstorms in some of the areas of the country including the capital as well.

Well, as you all know that IMD always tries to elaborate on situations so this time the department has done the same by giving brief information on the rain and also a complete list of where rain can happen this month. In accordance with the alert, it came to know that from the 16th to the 20th of March would be rainy and these cities will get impacted.

So, these are the following states where rain will happen for 4 days. Apart from these cities, there are some other states of the nation that have been marked as orange, as you can see in the official tweet of the department.
What Does Yellow & Orange Marks Mean?
Although, different colors are used to express several conditions. However, it all depends on the situation because every color has a different meaning. Also, Red means danger, yellow means confirmed the news, and orange means probability. So, in the alert issued by IMD, Yellow means: to be updated about thunderstorm warnings and orange means to be prepared.

Is There Rain In Delhi Today?
So, as you all know that from Delhi to Mumbai there is a rise seen in the temperature due to which a lot of people already started checking about rain, and amid all this IMD issued a list of the areas of the country that can get relief from increasing temperature. The weather forecast department recently released a map where all the areas that have been marked yellow are probably going to the relief of the summer with a little rainfall and some child winds.
So, according to the reports, IMD marked some of the areas of Maharashtra and Karnataka as orange. Meanwhile, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and some Himalayan regions are marked as yellow. Now, as per the rainfall or weather alert, it is being said that a downfall of 3 to 5 degrees celsius can be seen due to which people will get rid of warmth. Also, it has been said that there would be heavy rain from 16th to 20th March. It has been said that the temperature in Delhi can go as low as 16 meanwhile, it can rise about 34 degrees in the same week or after.
