Shimla Highway Accident | Five Labors Crushed By Over-speeding Car On Kalka-Shimla National Highway

A piece of heart-wrenching news started surfacing on the internet recently when a headline told that a speeding car crushed 5 people on Kalka-Shimla Highway. As soon as the news started surfacing on the web, it came up as a shock. According to the reports, a total of 5 migrant laborers were crushed to death by a car on the Kalka-Shimla national highway near Dharampur in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday morning.

Well, no doubt this is the saddest news of the day you will hear, and that too from just a day before than Holi festival. As soon as the police reached the spot they found that all the workers were going to work in the early morning when they got crushed by the speeding car. Apart from 5 killed in the accident, there were 4 more people who sustained injuries. The wounded ones were rushed to the Community Health Centre in Dharampur and Regional Hospital in Solan for restorative. One of the injured was referred to PGI in Chandigarh.

In accordance with the latest reports, the car was traveling from the Solan side towards Parwanoo, according to the information. At around 9 in the morning, the speeding car drove over nine workers who were strolling along the side of the road close to Sukki Johri. The car then climbed the divider, and the locals called the police and the emergency service right away to report the collision. The workers are from the districts of Chhapra in Bihar and Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh. After detaining the driver and seizing the vehicle, the police opened a case and began the subsequent actions.

On the roads, there are several incidents have happened in the past few months and most of the time the cause of the accident found to be overspeeding. However, there are so many slogans written on the roads telling people not to drive fast, drunk, with carelessness but still, people do such things and put other people in danger.
