Now, according to the latest reports, the DOE has announced something due to which there is going to be a big change in the exam pattern from next year. Speculations are rife on the internet claiming that there would be a big change in the education system from the next year, and mainly the change is going to appear in the exam pattern, especially for classes 10th and 12th. You all must be keen to know about the new exam policy so here we are telling you about the same. Although, before talking ahead on the news, we would like to tell you that currently only rumors are spreading on the internet and the information is yet to be announced officially.
According to the reports, the exam pattern for the 10th & 12th has been changed. Along with issuing the notification, the board of education has also sent letters to all principals of different schools in different states. The board has decided to ask 50% multiple choice questions in the 10th board to be held in the year 2024. Apart from the 10th, 40 percent of multiple choice questions will be asked in the 12th board as well.
What Is New In Latest Education Policy?
CBSE has stated that the new update in the education policy will give much relief to all students and it is because of the MCQs. Well, as you all know that MCQs are still better than those where students have to write such brief questions. However, you don’t have to be happy about this because only a certain amount of questions would be there and apart from that there would be the old method of examination. The number of multiple choice questions will be more in the internal examinations of classes IX and X.
As per the reports, competency-based focused questions will be asked in board and internal exams. Dr. Pramod Kumar, CBSE state counselor in a statement told, that by the end of the 2022-23 session, the number of competency-based questions was 40 percent, but now it has been increased to 50 percent. However, apart from MCQs, there would be a total of 30% long and short answer type questions for the 10th standard. While there would be a total of 40% of Long answer type of questions available for class 12th. Well, as we said that much information is yet to be announced officially.
