So, The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is the internal intelligence agency of India. This department is answerable for meeting, processing, and analyzing intelligence to protect the country’s national security and claims. The IB is also responsible for counterintelligence, counter-terrorism, and surveillance activities within India. It operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Home Affairs and is headed by a Director who reports to the Home Secretary. The agency’s primary focus is on internal security and it works closely with other intelligence and law enforcement agencies in India to maintain national security.

According to the online reports, the department released the notification for about 1675 vacancies for Security Assistant/Executive and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Although, if you are looking for the official notification so the sources have claimed that the notification will be released officially on 21st January 2023 so that interested candidates would be able to apply for the same and begin the preparation. Talking about the last date for applying to the recruitment cell shall accept applications till 10th February. If you are one of the aspirants then you must have heard that IB released the notification earlier in 2022 which was likely to begin on the 5th of November 2022, but then just a day prior the recruitment process was stopped due to some higher commands.

Now, talking about the eligibility criteria for applying for the post. So the candidate must have passed the 10th standard from any recognized board. Talking about the age the minimum should be 18 and the maximum goes till 27. However, if any candidate belongs to any reserved category then one will get the age relaxation.
