Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express Train Likely To Launch On 15th May! Routes, Fares & Timings Explained

Although, the state has already its own train the first one runs between Howrah to Jalpaigur. Well, it is not hidden from anyone that Vande Bharat’s first experience with the state people was not good as it went through a shocking incident of stone pelting. But it is hoped that probably the people of West Bengal will not treat the forthcoming Train 18 as they treated the first one. However, the train is yet to be flagged off but it is being talked on the internet that the train will begin its first journey this month after the 15th of May 2023. According to the reports, the Howrah Puri Vande Bharat Express is likely to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Although, as everyone knows that the Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat train is going to be the 2nd investment by the Indian govt in the state. The train went through a trial in April month of this year by the Indian railways and finally, it is all set to run on the track and bring excitement among all the commuters. When it comes to talking about the total distance between these two stations then according to the reports, the newly launched Vande Bharat Express train will cover a total of 500 km distance from one to the last station.
As the train is famous for its fast speed and good ambiance therefore, a total of just 5 hours and 30 minutes will be taken by rail to reach the destination. Although much information is yet to come on the latest Train 18 in Odisha, according to the reports, the train will have a total of 9 stoppages that are Howrah, Khurda Road Junction, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Haldia, and Puri.
Timings & Ticket Pricing
Although, if we talk about the timings then you must be in the swim that Vande Bharat Express is one of the trains that follows the timings very seriously and runs on the exact time. The same thing would be there in the latest train 18 in Odhisha because the train will probably leave Howrah at 5:50 am and arrive in Puri at 11:50 pm. The same thing would be seen in the return journey where it would depart from Puri at 2:00 and arrive in Howrah at 7:30.
Talking about the ticket prices then the estimated cost of the Chair Car to travel from Howrah to Puri will cost Rs. 1,590, including Rs. 308 for dining costs. While, the Executive Class will cost most probably at Rs 2815, same including Rs 369 for catering.
