Mamata Banerjee Urges Hospital To Treat Patient First & Do Formalities Later

When it comes to taking medical services, the first thing that makes everyone uncomfortable in the process. It is a universal truth that if anyone gets into any medical emergency they first have to meet the all requirements such as forms, bills, etc, and it makes the patient even more uneasy. However, everyone wants to bring a change in the world but not everyone tries to speak up. But recently, West Bengal’s CM Mamata Banerjee urged all medical employees saying they should go for treatment first rather than formalities. The news started surfacing on the web after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, expressed her umbrage over the medical service in the state’s SSKM Hospital.
She urged the hospital and other medical institutes in the state, where she in a statement said “Treat (the patients) first and get the process part done later, especially in a trauma care center (like the one in SSKM), which is an emergency service”. Adding other important notes in the statement she is also concerned about gravidas. Banerjee said that pregnant women should get the treatment on priority because if a lady is pregnant and not getting the treatment first then she would die because of the pain. “patients like pregnant women can die if they travel long hours to go to another hospital where they are referred”, she said.

As we all know that time has changed and now this generation does not have the caliber to bear the pain or any disease and this is the main reason why deaths take place, sometimes in the middle of the way to another hospital and sometimes in the stretcher of a hospital where he supposed to be admitted but due to the admission process, the one dies. Therefore, she requested the hospital to hire more staff to improve the medical assistance and advised them to manage the availability of senior doctors for the night as well. Actually, the lady was speaking at a foundation stone laying event for a bouquet of projects at the IPGMER SSKM Hospital.
According to the reports, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will be attending the second G20 Presidency meeting called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (9 December). She will attend the meeting virtually from her residence in Kalighat. Well, her initiative toward the medical service can perhaps bring a change so that all the medical institutes will follow.
