Indian Kabaddi Team Kicks A Row in Pakistan.: A group of 60 circle kabaddi players has created controversy by participating in Pakistan’s first Kabaddi world cup 2020. The people are mostly from Punjab.
The team is playing in a circular format. However, it has not cleared officially by the Union Sports Ministry.

‘Unofficial’ Indian Kabaddi Team Kicks A Row in Pakistan

India denied sending any team to Pakistan. The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) too said that it has not authorized any player to go to Pakistan.
This is the first time Pakistan is hosting the event. The poster shows participation by 10 countries including India, Australia, UK, Canada, Germany, Iran, Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Azerbaijan. The tournament will last eight days and was inaugurated at Punjab Stadium, Lahore.

The circle format is very popular in Punjab.

According to the circular format, a team can have ten members and four substitutes. So, ideally, a team should not consist of more than fourteen players. The invitation to 60 Indian players have also created a controversy in Pakistan. However, India denied sending any team to Pakistan. The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) too said that it has not authorized any player to go to Pakistan.
