He chose underdeveloped sector of Dara in Harwan province of Srinagar for inception of the tour.

Amid snowfall, Mr.Naqvi addressed a gathering of 300 people. Out of these 300, most of them were residents of Dara. In order to reach out to more people, he promised that the Had quota for locals would be raised. He also asserted that change that takes place in the Indian subcontinent will also be seen in the valley.

“It is the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that J&K joins the development trajectory of the country. It was the termite of corruption that ripped the valley into shreds, with people only pursing their personal gains. For decades, aspirants of locals have been ignored. However, central government is for positive and effective change on the ground,” said Mr.Naqvi.

Observing that more than 2 Lakh people go to Haj every year from India, he said,” We ensure all facilities are available to people willing to go to Haj.” “To ensure transparency, India is the first country to digitize the details of journey of pilgrims.”he further stated.

The minister went on to quote renowned poet Muhammad Iqbal as he chose to ignore the criticism that only eight tours by five Union Ministers had been scheduled in Kashmir out of 52 tours.

As per the reports, 52 tours and 31 public interactions have been conducted in Jammu. There BJP has managed to garner votes in the previous polls.

“Sitaaron se Aage Jahaan aur bhi hai,

Abhi waqt ke imtihaan aur bhi hai.”

He said that the Centre wanted new dawn of development and accountability in the functioning of the government machinery following the abrogation of Article 370.

During his tour to Srinagar, he virtually inaugurated a bridge over the river Jhelum at Malroo. And it was built at a cost of 16.53 crore. In fact, a forest protection force for 1,223.69 sim track at Bemina for 6 crores.

Hearing the demands of the people of the valley

Residents of Gujjar Basti used the meeting to forth their demands for the accountability of funds released by the Center and implementation of the forest Act.
