  • Leaders pay homage to all the martyrs of 26/11 attack on its 11th anniversary.
  • 11 years ago, 10 Pakistani terrorists had opened fire indiscriminately in Mumbai leading to death of hundreds of people.

Eleven years ago, the evening of Thursday, November 26 terror struck the financial capital of India.

Eleven years back on the same day, 10 Pakistani terrorists who had arrived by sea route had attacked Mumbai. 166 people were killed which included 18 personnel.

Mumbai’s Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus, Taj Hotel, Nariman House, Trident Hotel, Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, Oberoi Hotel, and Wadi Bunder were attacked, inflicting huge damage to public and private properties.

After the attack that went on for three days, nine out of ten terrorists were killed in security operations and one was captured.

All the leaders of the nation right from President to politicians of the parties have paid homage to the victims of the 26/11 attack.

Amidst leader paying tribute to the victims to the 26/11 attack, the post of Humans of Bombay about a girl named Devika who was shot by Ajmal Kasab eleven years back has been viral.

Ajmal Kasab was the only terrorist who was caught alive rest nine of them were gunned down by the security forces. He was executed in November 2012.

The horrific incident whenever remembered brings chills down the spine. The bravery and velour of the security forces who fought against the terrorists are unforgettable and worth applauding.
