Israel has started testing the coronavirus vaccine prototype on rodents. This is being carried out in their bio-chemical defence laboratory. Reports from sources came in on Tuesday.
Benjamin Netanyuhu, the Prime Minister, ordered the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR), in rural Ness Ziona, to join the fight against the coronavirus pandemic on Feb 1. This prompted easing of secrecy over its cooperations with civilian scientists and private firms.
Shmuel Shapira has informed Netanyahu’s office of significant process. This has been said in a statement released by Netanyuhu’s office.
Trials are already on go. But, the types of rodents being experimented on will not be revealed.
