CBI arrested the OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia: The CBI on Thursday arrested the OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on corruption charges. Also, the alleged bribery is of Rs 2 lakhs.

Gopal Krishna Madhav has been arrested for allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 2 lakhs. In fact, the bribe is possibly related to GST. Officials also said that Madhav took for questioning immediately.

Manish Sisodia the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi on CBI arrested the OSD 

on Thursday, CBI arrested the OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on corruption charges. However, Manish Sisodia took to Twitter and wrote that he was aware of the arrest. Sisodia also tweeted, “This officer posted in my office as OSD. CBI should get him punished strictly. I have caught many such corrupt officials in the last five years”, in Hindi.

BJP’s Amit Malviya said

The BJP has questioned the role of Sisodia in the bribery case. BJP’s Amit Malviya said that no OSD in the Deputy CM’s office can accept bribes without the knowledge of his boss. There have been many corruption case allegations on AAP’s Kejriwal and Sisodia in the past, Malviya added and tweeted, “The party born out of the movement against corruption will end with corruption.”
