Veteran Actor Sameer Khakhar Known For Khopdi In Nukkad Dies At 71

A piece of very sad news broke on the internet recently after which a lot of people expressed their grief. Well, we are talking about famous Bollywood actor Sameer Khakhar, and it is to be announced with a very heavy heart that the man has passed away at 71 years old, due to organ failure. Throughout his career, he worked in several movies and television shows but he was best known for his roles in TV shows such as Nukkad and Circus and so on. His death news was first confirmed by his brother Ganesh Khakhar and as soon as it was broken on the internet, his fans and friends mourned his death.
Well, as you all know that the Bollywood industry is not recovered completely from veteran actor Satish Kaushik’s death, and just after the week this news came that wrenched million hearts. Sameer Khakhar was 71 years old and survived by his wife. According to the reports, the actor’s last rites will be held at 10.30 am at a crematorium in Borivali today. Despite being worked as a side actor or supporting role, he gained a massive fan base. If we talk about the shows whether it is movies, television, or web series, he has worked on a huge number of projects.
What Happened To Sameer Khakhar?
So, people, or better say his fans are searching for one thing, what happened to Sameer Khakhar? how did he die? and so on. According to the reports, Khakhar was admitted to MM Hospital after he was diagnosed with respiratory issues. His brother Ganesh told to news “He had respiratory problems since yesterday and later he went into an unconscious state, so we called the doctor at home and he asked us to hospitalize him. He was admitted to the intensive care unit of MM Hospital. Slowly and gradually, he suffered multiple organ failure, he was unconscious and then he collapsed. He passed away at 4.30 am today”.
Well, if we talk about his noted works then beginning his career in 1985 with “Chhun Chhun Karti Aayee Chidiya” he last worked in 2018 Patakha (vaidhya). Now if we talk about television then from 1986–1987 he was appearing in a famous Hindi television show titled Nukkad where he played the role of Khopdi (a character), however, his last television show was in 2019-2020 titled Sanjivani where he portrayed Guddu Mathur. No doubt, he will be missed always and remain alive through his unforgettable acting. Our saddest condolences are with his family and fans. May his soul rest in heaven.
