Street Dancer Review
The film Street Dancer does too much heavy lifting with twists and turns in the storyline. In the beginning, two teams who are at loggerheads with each other. The film has been given a patriotic touch as it showcases the rivalry between two teams- Street Dancers and Rule Breakers.
The story revolves around how two teams that are pitted against each other bury the hatchet and come together in the end. However, both of the teams are competing to win the world dance championship. But as the story unfolds, both teams resolve their differences.
The third instalment of Remo’s Dance films is loaded with songs. Whenever the audiences get bored of witnessing the drama that unfolds, a song comes as a wake-up call.
Talking about the performances of the film, Varun Dhawan portrays the role with utmost sincerity and dedication. Shraddha Kapoor doesn’t have to do much of heavy lifting in terms of acting, but her dance moves hit the ball out of the park. But when it comes to dancing, there’s this lady is insurmountable and she is none other than Nora Fatehi. She dances like a dream. Other dancers dance moves are jaw-dropping.
Street Dancer review: Technical aspects
Talking about the technical aspects of the film, the VFX team and the graphics team have done a commendable job. The choreographers have done a fantastic job. But the film lags when it comes to storyline. It is nothing short of an extended version of the dance reality show.
So if you are huge fans of dance shows, this movie is for you. But if not, still go to theatres but without any expectations.
