Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is returning back to the small screen to host the second season of TED talks: Nayi Baat. The show will premiere on the actor’s birthday, 2 November.

This season will feature 26 speakers from different walks of life who will shed light on their experiences. They will be sharing ideas on how to tackle major issues prevailing in India like health, environmental awareness and sexual abuse to name a few.

The first season was the first time that TED had collaborated with any broadcasting network to bring some life-changing talks on-screen in any other language than English.

The selection of 26 influencers is about going deeper and discovering ideas that matter and can make a change in India”, said TED Chris Anderson.

The show will air on the networks’ flagship Hindi Channel StarPlus, NatGeo and will also stream on Hotstar. Talking about King Khan hosting the show he said,” he helps in communicating complex ideas in an easier way and also speaks English and Hindi incredibly well. Nobody will be able to connect with viewers by bringing forth such inspiring talks as he does.”

The previous season of the show featured Javed Akhtar, Karan Johar, Sundar Pichai, Ekta Kapoor, Jasmine Patheja and Shobha Tole to name a few.
