Saif Ali Khan, popularly known as Chotte Nawab has been picking up unconventional roles, feels the Hindi film industry is obsessed with male stalker films. He is amazed by the fact that films based on this genre have always been successful. He also takes a potshot at Shah Rukh Khan and says that he had made his career out of the same in the beginning.

In an interview, Saif also speaks about how the Hindi film industry often copies themes and ideas from the West. He gives an example of SRK’s hit film Baazigar and says it was inspired by James Dearden’s film ‘A kiss Before Dying’ in which a guy starts killing the girls in the family in order to seek revenge.

Currently basking with the success of the second season of Sacred Games, Saif is awaiting the release of his next venture Laal Kaptaan which also stars Manav Vij, Zoya Hussain, and Deepak Dobriyal. The story is about a naga sadhu who is seeking revenge. Besides this, he has two more films in his kitty one of them being Jawaani Janemaan alongside Tabu and Alaia Furniturewala and another one is Ajay Devgn’s Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, he is on a hiatus after the debacle of his previous venture Zero. He currently announced that he is going through a couple of scripts at the moment and will be finalizing his next project very soon. Besides this, he will be seen hosting the second season of TED Talks: Nayi Baat. Well, the entire nation is waiting for the moment when their favorite star’s next venture will be announced. We all hope that the day comes very soon as the audience is eagerly waiting for him to create magic on screen.
