Marjaavaan Trailer Review:

Marjaavaan is an upcoming movie, which I feel shouldn’t be coming out at all. The over done action scenes is something which is there in every single action movie. I don’t think that even Captain America was as strong and powerful as Sidharth Malhotra in the film. I think, that the only redeeming part about the trailer was the first 10 seconds when he talks about religion. He talks about being there for everyone irrespective of their religion, and that is something which needs to be better explored.

Even though the trailer was trying to explore a more serious undertone, I couldn’t help but laugh at the action scenes, which looked like they were out of a fantasy film. The casting and the first look of all the actors is impressive, and the way Riteish Deshmukh is displayed as a tiny goon, is, besides the whole tone of the trailer, something to admire.

As for the love story, I don’t expect it to be any less dramatic than a movie like Kabir Singh (both are directed by the same person) filled with passion and fire. The twist at the end of the trailer , where Sidharth Malhotra kills the girl (Tara Sutari) he apparently loves with all his heart, is really surprisingly. However, not at all redeeming for the trailer as a whole.
