Housefull 4 Review
The film is an earth! The story is crass as it is filled with sexist, unhumorous jokes. The fourth installment of the franchise ensures that it takes its brand of over the top and mindless humor forward. But this time in order to try something new the story is taken in flashback. It rewinds back six hundred years to 1419.
The film has an increasingly loud background score and CGI set in the 15th Century. The screenplay seems like the DaVinci Code. The sets are extravagantly inspired by Bhansali’s production set.
Talking about the performance of the actors in the film, Akshay Kumar plays his part well. Ritesh Deshmukh is a delight to watch. But the girls are used as eye-candies as they don’t have any significant part to play in the film.
Chunkey Pandey’s role remains the same as the other films of the franchise. There are plenty of songs in the film. All the songs have cringe-worthy lyrics but yet have turned out to be chartbusters.
In a nutshell, this Diwali if you are willing to watch a film please go to theaters to watch Saandh Ki Aankh and don’t waste money behind this crass film.
