Bigil Trailer Review:

Bigil is a movie with a lot of pomp and show, one can tell from just the trailer. what starts off as a show of the true spirit of sportsmanship, the action movie trailer ends leaving us confused. We see a strong man in the beginning and somewhere along the middle, it becomes a storyline about women empowerment. I, for one, am not sure what the true essence of the story is, and whether i should be excited to watch it. If the clarity of the actual movie is the same as the trailer, then I can vouch that I am definitely not going to watch it.

As for the action scenes, I have one word- CRINGE! The editors have put in no amount of efforts in trying to make them look even the least bit realistic and watchable. I, to be honest, am not very into action movies, but still can make out the difference between well edited action movies, and downright nonsensical ones.

The one good thing about the trailer, was the message it was attempting to portray- women are strong, and have the ability to undertake any physical activity they wish to partake in. It works on the stigma against women playing any kind of sports. If handled well, that can be a redeeming quality of the to be released movie.

Bigil budget:

The total budget for the movie- production and publicity combined has been estimated to be around Rs 140- Rs 180 crores, making it a high budget film.

Bigil release date:

The movie is set to be released in all Indian theatres on the 27th of October 2019.
